Product Combos – (LVP & Tile) or (Laminate & Tile)
Just because you decide to install a certain product, doesn’t mean you need to restrict yourself to that specific product type. For example, a popular trend with builders and in apartment buildings is to install a laminate countertop with a specialty tile or glass backsplash. In the same way, LVP flooring can be combined with tile, or alternatively, LVT can be compbined with hardwood flooring, to create an exciting experience for you to enjoy! For example, instead of installing LVP throughout the entire home, you can design a custome tile entry that color coordinates with a beautiful luxury vinyl plank.
Have a high temperature area, like a fireplace or a window that sees a LOT of sunlight? Think about incorporating a wood tile that coordinates with a luxury vinyl tile to get a color and texture scheme that is just as functional as it is visually impressive. Alternatively, you can match up a nice LVT with a beautiful engineered or 3/4″ solid hardwood.
Previously, this would have been impossible because the aesthetics of LVT/LVP was not advanced enough to pair with a tile or hardwood product. Synthetic materials like Luxury Vinyl & Laminate have been around for decades and their pattern detail and depth of color has improved by leaps and bounds. So much so, that it can be installed side-by-side without taking away from the wow factor but adding to it.
